| "BT Studio" phone - how to register handsets to base? |
| message from Laurence Taylor on 23 Jun 2005 |
I have BT "Studio" and a "Studio 100" DECT phones. Each of which works
perfectly well on their own respective base units.
I want to register both handsets to the same base (it doesn't matter
which), but neither seem willing to do this - the Studio base unit
appears not to request registration (press PAGE button for ten
seconds) and the handset has no menu function or any "2nd function"
markings on the keys.
Can anyone tell me how to do this please? Or has BT done the dirty by
making two almost identical units totally incompatible with each other?

Some of the Studio models are advertised as being not
GAP-compatible, but the manuals say otherwise. It's
possible only the original Studio model was like this.
