| BT EASICOM 200 data port |
| message from Peter Crosland on 25 Jun 2005 |
I would like to save, and if need be, restore the data in my Easicom 200.
Has anyone experience of the cabling and/or software for this? TIA

I have several of these (I bought around a dozen and gave some as gifts).
The s/w *was* available for about 40 pounds, (twice the amount I paid for
the units) so I never bothered. I don't think I've seen any info on the
cable connections over the past 5 years, but Google may be helpful. PGM.

Thanks for that Peter. I have been Googling extensively about it but have
not found anything.

interested in this myself, as all my phone numbers are in there and
one day the battery is bound to give out. Now if BT gave a tos they
would surely make the software available as freeware! 'cos they won't
be selling any more!

I found someone on Ebay selling 5 cells for a modest fee. Cannot remember
who it was selling, but most of you won't want 5 cells anyway (as you'll
only use one and put the other 4 somewhere 'safe', if you're like me :-)

Hi
I do have the pinouts somewhere. As to software, Like Peter, I never bought
it as I only paid a few pounds for my 200 when it was in a Link bargain bin.
I will dig out the pinouts if i can find them.
