Dial your won number, then interrupt the greeting by pressing the * key.

If you look in your mobile settings, under voice mailbox number, I think you
can dial that number from a BT line. I'm not sure, like, but try it...

I always thought you dialed your own number and pressed a key when it
went to voice mail... never tried it but thats what I've also thought
for some reason.

Stephen,
On your Vodafone mobile enter *#104# and then your call button. Your
voicemail number will appear on the screen in a few seconds.
