Small phones with 3 cashback
message from Stephen (Sausagefans.com) on 26 Jun 2005
I am after a smaller phone than my 7600 when I replace it in the next
month or so. However, I am also pretty tight so I am wondering what the
smallest/cheapest option is. At the moment we have 7600 on the 500
minute tariff which would be good, I see most offers come with 100 sms
now too a month which is handy.

What's the smallest option with cashback? I am hoping for something
pocket sized...

If all else fails I might have to go back to Orange and actually pay
money (sob sob) each month to ensure I have a nice small phone...

Thanks

S

why are 3 phones big and IMHO unexciting

they should do something like the old motorola 66i

3 do not make handsets.

There isn't really anything *that* small available on 3 ATM. However, is
the NEC E338 small enough for you? (It's the smallest 3 handset that I
can think of)

It's currently available from E2Save on Talk & Text 600 (500 mins + 100
texts per month) for £36 over the year after network discounts and
cashback from the retailer are taken into account (3 months 1/2 price
line rental on your bill, £80 automatic cashback after 1-2 months and 3
manual cashback claims of £66.37 each after 4, 8 & 12 months).

You might prefer the same deal with an LG U8120 - However, the U8120 is
not as small as the E338.

Cheers RM, when I buy I will use your link as you are saving me
legwork...

It might, I think be worth switching back to O to get a really small
phone, any nearly a whole year back in cheque offers around for an ON
PEAK tariff?

Thanks

Yup, just look at the recent articles on my site - OVP Relax 100/200,
OVP Anytime 100/200 will probably come up trumps in a lot of cases.

There are certainly some totally free and almost free deals after
cashback on the 100 variants at the moment - Not sure if these will
still be available come Friday though as it may simply be a case of OSPS
chasing sales targets before the end of the month.

These articles don't actually cover the 200 minute variants. If you
prefer a 200 minute variant, simply select a deal that looks good on the
basis of a 100 minute variant and change the tariff on the OSPS site and
see what the 200 minute variant comes in at.
