Done a google for a unlock code for the above phone but some websites say
cant be done via a code yet others say supply your IMEI number and for a
price they will unlock it, so what i would like to know is is there a
program like you can d/l for nokia phones that allows you to enter a keycode
after inserting your IMEI number

Or alternatively read a decent GSM forum at (surprisingly)

Most Moto's can be unlocked by code but these codes are supplied by a
central server that is unreliable and expensive. It's be far cheaper to pay
someone to unlock it using SmartClip or similar.
