Have orange removed the free 5 SMS's you used to get as a registered
user? Can't find it any more, and I can't find anything in google
saying the service has been removed

Still there, just used it.
From the home page click e-mail, then click send a text message, then log in
with your phone number and password.
It's 30 freebies a month now, to uk phones only.
