Of sending ringtones from my PC to my mobile?

I have just got a Motorola V550 and want to send real ringtones to it. I
have some MP3 clips but dont know how to get them from PC to mobile.

Any help very much appreciated

Get a data cable or bluetooth dongle (if the V550 does bluetooth - I've
never heard of a V550)

Does it have bluetooth ? - if so, that`s probably the easiest way.

You can also send them as at attachment to your phone. At least it work
on my V551 and nokia 3120 with tmobile US payg.

haven't a clue.

Many thanks

Just send a text message to your phone from your PC and attach the
ringer. When it arrives you will have options to play, save, apply as
ringer, etc. This only worked for midi ringtones and I believe they
have to be less tan 30 KB in size. In my case, I just send an SMS with
the file attached to mynumber@tmomail.net. (for tmobile USA) Do the
same for your carrier. Also, the phone has to be setup correctly to
receive MMS. So, your GPRS settings have to be correct.

Hi yes
This phone has bluetooth. Get a Adapter for your pc. Then you can transfer
the mp3 to your phone.

As others have suggested, Bluetooth,
or you could do what I did on my Motorola V500.....
I wrote a very basic html page with links to the mp3 files, uploaded
all this to my ISP's free webspace.
Then, using the built in browser on the phone, went to the address and
saved off the mp3 files.

£8.95 will get you a USB datacable; download some free Handset Manager
software, connect the phone to your pc, fire up the software and you're
away.
