| Anybody using a Sendo X on Orange? |

Just got a good price on a SEndo X smartphone and put my Orange SIM into it
(unlocked of course, but with Voda software)
For some reason the Sendo X I have seems to want to turn on divert all calls
to voicemail. After I turn all diverts off using the phone and the network
acknowledges this, all is well until I use an application on the phone or
turn the phone off then on again then the divert all to VM comes back on.
Before I throws my teddy out with Sendo / supplier, just want to check this
is not some strange quirk between the phone and Orange, hence my question in
the subject!
So any Sendo X users on Orange - have you had the same problem and is there
a solution. The problem is I like the phone but missing calls is
unacceptable.

Been using mine on Orange contract for two month with no problems - final
found a phone I can find no reason to get rid of. Try posting in the Sendo X
section of the www.allaboutsymbian.com forums, you should get some sense on
your problem there.

Interesting, I will post in the Sendo X forum later. Is your X flashed with
Vodafone software or is it a generic version - expansys worldwide version
etc?

Vodaphone version of the latest firmware, other than start up and shut down
screens (which can be by-passed with the correct theme) there is no
Vodaphone branding. There is firmware release pending.

Same version as mine then. The allaboutsymbian forum is proving useful,
thanks for that.
BTW you say you can bypass the Voda start up and shut down screens by using
the correct theme. Where can I find such a correct theme. I tried
downloading a few themes from the net but none of them would load on the
Sendo? any help reatefully received

The Sendo X doesn't use the Nokia theme engine but its own one, which means
that any nokia theme you'll find on the web won't work. Sendo had some
themes on their web site for a while but removed them because a new firware
is due out soon and won't be compatible with the existing themes. You can
find some themes on the sendosmartphone web site
http://www.sendosmartphones.com/ , which is down at the moment due to
technical problems, or by searching the Sendo X All About Symbian forums
(simply serach for theme). There is one, the themalinux i think, that
replaces the startup and shutdown screens. Be aware though that using
themes may render your X a bit unstable at times.
