Not bad, but someone on uk.telecom just posted http://www.dialwise.co.uk/ who
only charge 4ppm!

Presumably some loophole has opened up where they can avoid the usual rip-off
termination charges...

Hey that's amazing cheers for that :)

Well, it looks like dialwise is more expensive than telediscount, which was
the cheapest i had found so far, for calls to French and German mobiles.
abroadtel though looks incredibly cheap. 4p/min for calls to French mobiles
instead of 15p/min for the competitors... What's the catch?

Blah blah, loss leader - same thing said about 18866 and 1899 time and
time again, and they're still going...

(Bah, GMail - bringing the AOL syndrone to Usenet.)

Andy Pandy replied to Mehdi on 27 Jun 2005
And 6ppm to Liechenstein mobiles - probably the best deal for phoning riiing
sims...

percy replied to Andy Pandy on 27 Jun 2005
Yep exactly the same for me. My Riiing number was engaged (twice) on
Abroadtel and rang out OK with direct dial thru BT ...........

percy replied to Mehdi on 27 Jun 2005
Yeah maybe, but see other earlier comments about engaged numbers that aren't

...but Abroadtel offering is by far the cheapest for calls to Czech republic
both landline and mobile. I have tried it only once and got through OK. So
far I used Telediscount

Also worth keeping an eye on http://www.niftylist.co.uk/ which lists
both of the above!

The new Dialwise rate seems to be a response to the new player
Abroadtel offering. Abroadtel appear to route the call through Europe
as you have to enter the dialling code in full Intl format. With
Dialwise you just dial the number normally.

Jason. Whats all this Blah.Blah.Blah. about do you have a problem?
when i said Loss Leader Price i meant that its only there to attract
punters aboard. In fact if you look at the web site its now described as
a summer offer.I wasnt suggest the conpany wasnt hear to stay.

Henry replied to ŽStephen Hammond on 27 Jun 2005
New Kid on the block possibly a loss leader price!!!

And that's a con. I've just tried it on my riiing and the message came
back that the mobile was engaged. Funny because the mobile was sitting
on my desk with full signal.

Dialling through BT caused my riiing mobile to ring, so no connection
problem. So abroadtel.co.uk get a slice of revenue for not connecting a
call.

No thanks!

I've had the same problem with Ratebuster (7ppm for a riiing mobile)
which says that the Liechtenstein number has not been recognized.

They're all getting rake offs for unconnected calls.
