Do not trust bulldog broadband/adsl
message from me on 27 Jun 2005
Cannot contact Bulldog customer service. When I press option 1, says
lines are busy and then cuts me off.

I'm going to complain to Ofcom and BBC Watchdog about it.
I hope other people complain to Ofcom and WD too.

Yep. They are still suffering from a huge demand for their customer
services.

Seems like the throw money at advertising and get a whole new bunch of
customers but then have trouble dealing with them.

Its been the same with bulldog since they started. victim of their own
success perhaps.

I'm actually having trouble getting hold of them in order to pay them money.

But i've emailed and written them and kept copies so hopefully I won't see a
baliff.

Is your name Patrick? This is exactly the situation a friend at work
(surprisingly enough called Patrick) is in. I just can't see why you'd
want to use a company that you can't actually contact in good time.

You'd rather be on hold for ages?

Good luck with that; iirc ofcom recommend that if the call won't be answered
in a reasonable time that it is terminated before it costs the customer too
much. Which is what they're doing...

But it's been like this for weeks!

When the call costs you nothing, and you need to speak to them yes.=20

It is possible to riung them 10 seconds after they open their customner=20
service line, or 5 minutes before they close it, and still get put on=20
hold, or told they are busy and get cut off. If you get cut off, ring=20
straight back. You will then get straight into the queue.

And before you say "use someone else".
Upto 4 meg ADSL (shortly to be upgraded to 8meg)
