Re: SWA right up to sw nr CU?

They do an excellent Volex one that I bought a couple of weeks ago for my
shed. The VGCKIT. It looks pretty waterproof and is cheap as chips, given
that it is IP rated.

Hi Christian,

Thanks for that.

I assume I coud replace the 16 with a 32A MCB for a 'ring' down here
(it's a workshop rather than a shed)?

I have managed to pick up today a couple of MCB's to fit the GE CU so
I might see how I get on with that.

Still not sure re the isolator. I could fit a 45A cooker switch but I
am still unsure about bringing the SWA up to near the CU or jointing
it near the entry and running the rest in T&E?

Aslo, the leftover metal bodied DP switch and wired fuse could be good
(as I've got it already) but not sure what to do with the fuse as it's
coming off a MCB anyway?

All the best ..

I believe so. It is marked not to exceed 40A. 32A+6A is obviously within
this.

Christian.
