I think you've knackered that, time for a new one, or a new RCD plug
at least! For what a half decent RCD plug costs, and the fact you
can't really repair RCDs, it's not worth looking into fixing the old
one.
I'm assuming of course youve tested the flex for continuity and short
circuits first!
