I'm more concerned that the right honourable idiots all ran out like
headless chickens, breaking the rules of containment which had been
agreed, which, had it been something more serious than flour (anthrax
e.g.) potentially spreading the infection to the public at large

irresponsible idiots almost to a man (/maness)

One of the females was in grave need of toilet facilities but she
couldn't get past the crush at the door fast enough. Apparently the
stench made some MPs think they were under another attack.

I'm still perplexed by this notion that (if it were some noxious nerve
agent or somesuch) they should all have sat there calmly suffocating (or
writhing in agony) awaiting the men in NBC suits the while the world
watched them.

Surely the sensible thing is for them to be evacuated to the lobbies which
could then be sealed while the main chamber could be separately sealed
awaiting the decontamination teams.

Of course in the case of an anthrax-type contagion most would still have
died even in the lobbies, but still...

Just my 0.017 Euros worth.
