Fixing venetian blinds to PVC Window frame

message from Douglas on 20 May 2004
I have white pvc double glazing window frames and surrounds and i need
to hang a venecian blind but i dont really want to dril up through the
plastic?
Any other good way to do it?
I could hang the blind above the window into the wall but it would
look a bit odd, it might restrict the blind opening/closing mechanism
a bit and would sit on the edge of the window ledge.

Isn't it usual to fit the such a blinds mechanism to the underside of the
window top reveal?
They have to be spaced some way from the glass so they can operate.
Or is it that your window reveal is also covered with upvc cladding?
If so it probably covering up some dodgey plasterwork that may not take
screw anyway.
