Asphalt floor tiiles

SWTSMBO has just shown me a (2 year old) newspaper clipping about
Asphalt floor tiles. She thinks that she might like them in the
kitchen. The distributor is listed as JMCA but, natch, I won't get an
answer today.

Any views on using them in a kitchen?
