xp and clock |

often clock starts to run very fast. ( a minute lasts about 0.5 seconds )
if I restart the pc the time is ok (so this is not a bios or battery
problem)
running linux it's ok.
when clock starts to run double click is not working.
in event logs no errors regarding clocs, but many errors regarding DCOM and
DHCP "time exceeded during..."
Norton internet security is installed.
PC is virus and spyware free (adaware, panda and spybot)
can you help me please ?
