wupdater message

message from =?Utf-8?B?bXpvaA==?= on 11 Jun 2004
When i shut down the windows i get a windows telling me that wupdater.exe is being closed and when the progress bar ends a window appears which says that this program is not responding. I nedd to know what this program is and how can i remove or uninstall it.
