expand X:\i386\ntoskrnl.ex_ C:\%systemroot%\system32\ntoskrnl.exe - where X
is the letter of you cd drive and C is the letter of the drive where Windows
is installed. Please note the space between the _ and C.

Hi
Infected how, with what? Has a virus scan been run? Have a look in the
%systemroot%\system32\dllcache folder to see if there is a copy of the file
there. If so copy it to the %systemroot%\system32 folder.
If you can't find a copy in the above folder, try this:
Put the XP CD into the cd drive and from a command prompt type the following
expand X:\i386\ntoskrnl.ex_ %systemroot%\system32\ntoskrnl.exe - where X is
the letter of you cd drive. Please note the space between the _ and %.
