srvss.exe

message from Parker on 11 Jun 2004
Hi,

This is a service that I found on an XP machine. Is this a Microsoft
service?

It looks like to be a Trojan. I suggest rename it as: srvss.txt (from
srvss.exe) and see what happens for about a week or so. If it creates
any problems for windows to run then put it back as before and keep your
fingers crossed.

Ran a google check for it, and not a lot showed up. I presume you
have run virus check already, and your pc is clean?

I don't have that file in my XP Pro system.
