recycle bin question

message from =?Utf-8?B?ZmJ1dGlrb2Zlcg==?= on 3 Jun 2004
recycle bin icon is on screen, but when I open it nothing is there. Deleted items do not transfer to recycle bin. do not move files to recycle bin box is not checked. Had to reinstall Windows XP a month ago, did it get lost then?

Hi,

Take a look at this article, it's what came up when I checked in the
Microsoft KB.
Though the article said it applied to Windows 2000 server, it may be
worth a try:
