page shuts down online

message from =?Utf-8?B?cHVtcGd1eQ==?= on 1 Jun 2004
When I go online and my home page starts up, after a short time ( from a few seconds to many minutes),
whatever page I'm on just shuts down. No warnings, errors, or messages of any kind. It just goes back
to desktop. Sometimes after a few seconds or after many minutes. I have checked drivers and hardware
and cannot find anything that would cause this. My PC is Soyo M/B, AMD 1700+ CPU, 512 MB Ram, with ATI
9200 SE Vid card, on Win XP Pro. Anyone have any ideas???

Hi,

Try performing a scan looking for spyware using updated ad-aware and
spybot:
Ad-aware
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/

Spybot S&D
http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?lang=en&page=download

Also try going to Control Panel > Internet Options > Advanced options
tab and disable third-party browser extensions.

If this works, you might consider using BHODemon, to see which Browser
Helper Objects you've got:

Good luck
