odjnk.exe crashing a new Dell Optiplex GX270 windows xp workstatio

It seems that e-mail program such as webpine and statistic application such as STATA is somehow related.

The error message consists of symbols I can not decipher.

The error seem to not allow an application to be closed.

Earlier a general error occurred that restarted the computer.

I can find nothing on MSN search, google, dell, or microsoft website so far. Can someone help?

odjnk.exe is located in the root windows directory, so I'm assuming it has something to do with the Windows XP OS itself.

Would running the Windows XP repair work? Would I have to re-install all the softwares in the computer if I do? Would I lose any non-OS-related data in the process of repairing a Windows XP Installation?

Thank you very very much!

I don't know what odjnk.exe is. But it isn't an XP file.

Find it and right click it, select Properties and see what
you can see. Check all tabs.

Update your anti virus software and run a complete scan.
