mobile phone to pc help

hello need some advice hope someone can help , i live in the back of the
beyond and 3 or 4 days a week my phone line dont work ( thanks BT) i need to
connect to the internet daily to retrieve e-mail for my work .... is it
possible to connect a home pc to me mobile phone so i can retrieve my email
thatway im using an up to date pc with win xp loaded and a basic nokia
mobile ( not blue tooth ) thanks for any info in advance

yup you can do, problem is a mobile phone's speed is 9600 bits, you would need to upgrade to a gprs service or use vodaphone's 3g service, the gprs is equiv to normal modem on telephone line and i think vodaphone's 3g data card is equiv to broadband.

works out expensive as you pay for evey bit of data, so i would advise getting a package with a monthly quota.
