mail merge using address book problem

I am trying use label software to create labels from my address book.

I can get the first address ok, but inserting the 2nd address onto the next label changes the first address to read the same as the 2nd, inserting the 3rd address changes the first and second to read the same as the 3rd and so on until I'd end up with a page of labels all showing the address on the last label.

What am I doing wrong? Any help appreciated. Thanks
