misssing XP |

Help!!!!
My computer went on the fritz and had to go to the computer dr. When I got it back everything was removed from it. The Dr. put his version of XP back on it but now the computer doesn't recognize it. The original was on the computer when I bought it, and I can't find or I never had the cd of the program.
What do I need to do to get this problem fixed.

Take it back to the 'computer dr' and talk to him even though the inference
made by your statement here suggests that he may be a quack/fraud/technical
no-go area/knowledge-free zone..

Also remember to never buy a computer without that disk and make sure
you keep it in a safe place.
