my icons have dissapeared

My icons have dissapeared and now i have to manually go through and right click/properties/change icon. Can someone tell me why they have done this (it actually happened after i installed a demo of rallisport challenge), and how i can fix it.

If your icons have disappeared, how can you right click them?
