memtest86

message from Janice on 9 Jun 2004
I've downloaded the iso file for this and made my bootable CD. Once I change
the PC to boot from the CD-Rom do I just restart with my bootable memtest CD
in the drive?

Does the test start automatically?

Sorry for the stupid questions but I prefer to know what's going to happen
before I try it.

Thanks

Janice

This is a microsoft group. Ask about whatever it is where you got it. If =
you use the Microsoft one then all you do is boot.

Yes you're correct - it is a Microsoft group. I am using Microsoft Windows
XP.

As I have already searched through the group and found mention of memtest86,
I thought someone who had used it will point me in the right direction.

If you get bored you can run the proper Memtest app for Windows.
