I am running windows xp on a hp pavilion 7850, when i switch users or log off the screen goes black right after the computer closes the page that was running at the time.When this happens i lose all control and have to hot boot. I have seen many people complain about this problem, but I see not answer. You can delete all the files in the folder but you cannot delete the folder itself unless you reboot. I think it has something to do if you delete a folder and it is still drawing thumbnails. Problem is, once you get this error on the folder, you cannot delete it until you reboot. ... (more) |

| Please help. Microsoft could not. I was on the phone with them for three hours. I just purchased a Microsoft Optical Desktop Pro. I was able to install the software for the mouseand got it working properly, but everytime i try to install the software for the keyboard(which is on the same disc), Windows Installer pops up and tell me to install disc Intellitype 2.1. Attemping to network new Pentium 4 3:00 system using Windows XP Home edition through a Linksys Fast Ethernet 10/100 hub Model #FENSK05 to an older AMD Athlon running Windows 98SE. Both computers access the Internet, independent of each other. Created a network floppy disk using XP Home and installed on the AMD Athlon running 98SE. I have configured both networks using the same workgroup name - MSHOME.
