| I'm running Windows Xp Professional, and one mornig Windows did not start, no safe mode, no revert to last good conf, so i tried to repare the instalation but it doesn't work, then I tried a new clean installation. | I was messing around with documents and settings and i had deleted some folders that i felt were not needed in my profile. I have the administrator account on my computer. Well after i did that I went to log onto the guest account and it will not start up. My account still works fine, I tried to create a new account and a message saying that my profile can not be found and i should contact the network administrator apeared. I'm hoping that i have not deleted something to important. Is this problem fixable or am i going to have to restore my whole os? ... (more) |

Apparently my earlier query didn't post, or something. Anyway, can anyone tell me how to install Win 98 after a Win XP install. I've had nothing but problems with this: when I try to boot from the 98 CD (upgrade), I get a "improper media" or something like that error message. I thought maybe it's the upgrade thing that's messing me up, so I went back to my first full version of Windows (3.11) (which installed just fine), then tried to install Win 95 and got the same error message. ... Hi, Ive recently noticed that I have 2-3 programs running in the backround that consistantly use 4 cpu ... So I looked into try endtasking it and it will just start up wright away . So I thought simple spyway adware thing scan remove . Nope after several attempts with diifernt programs my problem remains . But now there is 4 now . After each time I end task it it starts up under a random name . Here are the most common one; Nfw8eU8B.exe,Ikd7y3fz.exe,AaoG,ScdKh.exe and Ozi6v . Once I end task them they change name and appear again wright away . So it started to bug me . I did virus scan nothing . So I check my c:\windows\Prefix and I found matching file names to these problems . So I deleting the pfs and endtask the matching one on TaskManager . When I did that and endtask it would start wright up again and add the pf wright back into prefix instantly . I tried many times differnt ways and everytime it just reappears and eats up my cpu .
