history will not delete no matter what i do..

message from =?Utf-8?B?ZGF2ZQ==?= on 30 May 2004
tools....internet options....clear history does nothing. cant delete from explorer files. run my mcafee privacy and that does not even work. Only able to delete by clicking individually. Any thoughts? thanks
