Everytime I dial up my isp the connection always comes up
"page not found error" I then close page while I am still connected through my isp and have to wait ahile and then again click icon ang go to home page and the same happens. Also when I am on a site and moving through to different areas it will suddenly give "cannot find page error" This is very frustrating, have spoken to my isp and they have advised it is an xp and 2000 problem and to contact microsoft but cannot get an answer cam somebody that has connections directly with microsoft please find out as it is a real pain in the proverbial

I suggest you talk with your ISP and get them to give you adequate DNS
numbers.
If the DNS is inadequate, you will be able to download some pages, but
not others, and photos may not load in the pages that do load.
How to Configure Windows XP TCP/IP to Use DNS
This article describes how to configure Windows XP TCP/IP to use the
Domain Name Service (DNS).
