deleting history |

For a long time I have been using the Tools/Options button to erase the history files. However, today I tried and after hitting the buttons it doesn't erase the files. Things have worked fine until today, but now it doesn't work. Anyone out there with similar problems and/or solutions? Thanks.

Hi Gerry,
Try to boot in Safe Mode (F8) and delete history from there.
Or delete from windows explorer in the folder
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local configuration\History
Go to the Control Panel >Folder Options > View
tab, set it to "Show hidden files and folders" and uncheck "Hide
protected operating system files [recommended]". Also uncheck "Hide
extensions for known file types".
