corruptions |
| message from aSussertown on 2 Jun 2004 |
I'm getting way too many corruptions. I have 2 discs. 1 is C,D,E. 2 is F.
When I rebuild 1 and move files (backup docs) from 2 to 1 and format 2 and
put files back, sometimes the files on 2 become corrupted. I can't delete
them or folders maybe. Sometimes I can't open them. I have to format the
drive again and redo. Then something corrupts 1. I have a good virus scanner
and use it frequently.

Go to the HDD manufacturer website and download their HDD diag program..
move all files off the 'F' drive, run diags and do a low level format.. then
partition and format as necessary.. now copy your files back..
