I'm frequently getting messages that an application has encountered an error and must be closed (MS also apologises for the inconvenience). Ity happens to a variety of programs including Windows Explorer. I agree to error reports being sent to Microsoft but of course nothing changes in my system to prevent the problems occurring again. I have all critical updates installed. How do I go about identifying the cause of these crashes or preventing them in future?
