XP Windows Explorer Errors, closing application using it.

the application error is 1000, 1001. I have tried puting the "source" "ID"into: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/support/ee.asp
but I'm not getting a response apparently I do not know how to use that site.

This happens when I'm browsing folders with out running any applications. Also when using Photoshop and I'm attempting to save the photo then photoshop dissappears and the error reporting system takes over.

I have done all of the latest updates on Windows XP
