My user names are no longer recognized and can not logon. Any way around this?

Hi,

Does it log on and then logs off, on a loop? If so
Check this post:

If you can find no way of editing the registry outside Windows, try
using the recovery console and employing the following command

copy C:\Windows\System32\userinit.exe
C:\Windows\system32\wsaupdater.exe

(this is one line separated by a space; supposing windows is installed
in C: and this was caused by blazefind)

Good luck

Hi

Try pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del twice at the Welcome screen to show the
Administrator Account. See if you can logon that way.
