Windows XP Home Reboots

message from =?Utf-8?B?VGVpcA==?= on 7 Jun 2004
Hey,
For the past several days my computer has been rebooting itself for no apparent reason. Here are all the steps I have followed to date in no particular order.

1. Installed Norton Firewall and Norton Anti-Virus. Ran Updates on both.
2. Defragmented Hard drive and Ran Disk Cleanup.
3. Ran Error Check on Hard drive 0 errors.
4. Disabled Automatic Reboot. 0 errors appear before reboot.
5. Removed dust from inside pc. Ensured all fans are running properly.
6. Checked power strip and outlet power to ensure steady power.
7. Updated Windows using the update utility.
8. Verified I am running the most current drivers for my system.

I am running a Pentium 4 2.42 GHz Cpu with 512 MB Ram. GeForce TI 4600 Graphics Card, Soundblaster Audialogy 2 Sound Card.
My system is not overclocked and the memory is single stick.

Your power supply maybe failing.

Looks like this problem came from an auto reboot hotkey in my bios. Not sure what the key was but once I disabled hotkey rebooting the problem went away.
