Windows Picture and Fax Viewer

message from =?Utf-8?B?U3RldmVu?= on 11 Jun 2004
I have been running on XP Pro for more than 2 years. All of a sudden, when I try to view a .tif from the internet, I get a message in Windows Picture and Fax Viewer that "no preview is available." The preview window comes up, but after processing, shows the message. If I elect to save the image to my desktop rather than view it, there is no problem, I can just double clik the image and it comes up. Any idea why I can no longer preview?

although this first link does not state that it addresses.tif files, it might be worth a look.

Here is another article, might be the ticket.

Thanks, but it is not an aol or cs issue. The second article assumes an initial save and then a view; my problem is at the view stage direct from the internet. I appreciate your taking the time to respond.
