What is a QuickRestore CD?

My computer got a virus. I put in the Recovery CD and tried to Factory Restore. It started and then it stopped. After trying the disk again, it said No Factory Image found. Info found with the Recovery CD says i must use QuickRestore CD's. What r they?

Hello
Quick Restore Disks are the factory restore disks that come with the
computer.
Wouldn't it be easier to locate the virus and fix it.
