Word is missing command bar |
| message from =?Utf-8?B?bm9kbmFyYmhlcmJ5?= on 9 Jun 2004 |
When we open up the Word program or any of it's documents, the command toolbar at the top is not there. The one we are referring to contains 'File, Edit, View' etc. How do we get it to return?

Right click any toolbar then Customise or Tools - Customise. It requires =
a program to make it go away (you can't untick it here, I presume you =
can tick). Try winword /a.

The tool bars can be turned off or on. Right click in any of the tool bars
showing and you will get a list of all tool bars that can be activated.
Click on the "standard" tool bar to get the one you want to show.
