Windows XP autoplay doesn't recognize .jpg photo files

message from =?Utf-8?B?SG93YXJk?= on 1 Jun 2004
I have one windows XP computer whichs fails to recognize .jpg photo files when Windows autoplay runs on the insertion of a memory stick and/or CD/DVD disks when said media contain said photo files. Instead of the autoplay offering photo options to choose from, Windows simply opens up the memory stick and or CD/DVD disks and displays its content. If both photo and video files are contained on said media, autoplay will recognize the video files and will offer up the video program options but will again fail to recognize any photo files - normally autoplay will show Mixed Content and will present both photo and video program options to choose from. My other four Windows XP computers work fine so I know that there is something wrong with this particular computer. Besides reinstalling everything all over again (Windows XP and all the other programs and files) which is very time consuming, does anyone know of a way to correct this problem? Reponses would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your assistance!
