Whoops.... I installed into the wrong subdirectoy....

I "upgraded" to WinXP Pro. I have Win2000 Advance server installed on the
system. I THOUGHT I was doing a parelel install into a diff directory (That
is what I WANTED to do!!!)

Is there a way to get back my OLD Windows2000 and then reinstall XP into a
different Subdirectory?

I do not have a backup (I probably have a copy somewhere on my hard drives,
but I am not certain where (is the one file with a date/timestamp) that I
can look for?

You don't want it in another directory, you want it on another drive or
partition. And you can't upgrade from a server OS to a workstation OS, if
that was your plan.

As far as how to get things sorted out from here, if it was me, I'd back up
what I needed and start over. Right now you've got a mess off a newer
workstation OS combined with an older server OS and there may not be any
easy way to turn that mess into a good working copy of either.
