Windows Installer triggering at bootup

message from N J Jelley on 03 Jun 2004
Hi,

I have manually had to uninstall a product after an evaluation period
expired.

There is an issue now which is causing problems with my pc, such that
Windows Installer fires up every time I reboot.

Where is this process being triggered from?

I've looked in the registry for run and runonce but it doesn't appear to
be there.

I need to get rid of it otherwise I may be faced with a system format.

Please advise.

Thanks.

Neil

have you tried looking in start/run type "msconfig" without the " ok then go
to startup tab and see if its there?
