Update of antivirus slows down saving fromPC WinXp to Linux server |
| message from Martin Pospíšil on 10 Jun 2004 |
After automatic antivirus update saving from PC running under OS WinXP on
server running under OS Linux slows down rapidly. Operation that used to
need 10sec need sometimes 1min (but this time is variable).
There is a shared folder on linux server there is a that is mapped on PC
The application writes into DBF tables as well as it creates a new files on
server
Simple saving (using Explorer) from WinXP on Linux server is normal
If I unistall antivirus this problems remains
If I restore system WinXp back application runs normaly up to update uf
antivirus
Application that runs on Win98 works normaly
Does anybody help me how to fix this problem ?
Martin
