USB

Hi,

I don't know if this is normal or not.
Let's say I plug an Epson printer to one of the USB ports.
Windows will ask for the driver for that printer; and I will get a "Epson"
After that, if I plug the same printer to a different USB port,
Windows will ask for the driver again and then I will get a "Epson #2"
If I try to rename "Epson #2" to "Epson", Windows will not let me saying
that I already have "Epson".

I believe that is normal - I had a similar issue with a wireless USB
network connector. It appears to be a function of XP which remembers
the USB port used. I've solved the problem by always using the same
port. Apparently win 2k doesn't do this though.
