USB 2.0 Card Reader - SanDisk SD |

Hi all,
I have a USB 2.0 card reader, which reads / writes SD, CompactFlash, MMC and
so on... cards.
No problems at all with CompactFlash, haven't used the other ports except
SD....
If I format the SD card with my digital camera, and then insert the disk
into the reader, I can read and write a bunch of files to and from the disk
no problem.
Upon removing the card and re-inserting it, the data on the card appears
corrupt.
Using the SD card in my camera, everything works fine, yet XP still sees the
files as corrupt.
Write-cache is switched off, so that I can remove the card easily.
Any ideas? :-(
