I'm running Windows Xp Professional, and one mornig Windows did not start, no safe mode, no revert to last good conf, so i tried to repare the instalation but it doesn't work, then I tried a new clean installation. But now I can't acces my early directory, it still there but now I don't have privileges, even when in the new instalation I'm an administrator user i can not chage the security for the directory to accessit, How can I get my access to those files back? there are important files from my job, I'll thanks to any help.

Are you sure they're still there? If you did a clean install, I doubt if
they are still there.

Willie, thanks to answer, yes they're still there, inside the documents and settings folder, stil there the older user folde, but when i try to oppen it, apears the message, access denied, the same if I try to copy it or move it, and inside this older folder i can see the folders inside: My documents, recent documents, desktop, and so on, but it seems that the account was deleted, so i can not log in that account no more. I ´ve tried all I know.

In XP Home you have to boot in safe mode (F8) In XP Professional you
have to disable simple file sharing in Windows Explorer > Tools >
Folder options > View tab.
