Toolbars reset everytime I restart/logoff

message from Joaquim Amado Lopes on 10 Jun 2004
Greetings.

- on the top of the screen
- quick launch on, everything else original from WinXP off
- 3 custom toolbars
- all toolbars in 2 lines, locked

Yesterday, the system started acting weird. Everytime I logon, I have:
- on the top of the screen
- quick launch and search assistant on
- no custom toolbars

It doesn't matter if I change the settings. When I restart the system
or logoff and logon again, the setup is the default, nor the one I set
up.

It happens with all the users I tried and I couldn't find anything
useful on the help files.

Can anyone help me?

Thank you for your time,
Joaquim Amado Lopes

Hi Joaquim,

I have pretty much the same problem and I haven't been able to fix it yet. Every time I logon I have to remove the Search Assistant and expand the quicklaunch area to show all the icons - it's very annoying!

Cheers
Simon
