Task list question |
| message from =?Utf-8?B?RWxlcmk=?= on 12 Jun 2004 |
I am attempting to help my friend fix her computer which has been bogging down. I've run countless AdAware scans and AVG Anti-Virus scans, and it says it is clean (now, after I cleaned up the refuse).
There is one program listed in her task list which I cannot identify and cannot find anywhere on the web (Searching through Yahoo and Google). Can anyone identify it?
[web defy type.exe]
File Path : C:\PROGRA~1\TonsStyleKeep\
Does it sound familiar to anyone???
Thanks in advance!

Looks like a dialer worm. These have many names . See if you can find it in
msconfig and uncheck it. You also might want to delete it. Jym
