Startup-have to choose OS version

message from ATL on 9 Jun 2004
When I powerup the system I get a screen giving me two choices for the
OS. Windows wants me to pick one, but it has the "count down" so it
picks one for me after 30 seconds has elapsed. So, it is not a big
problem, but I would like to know if there is a way around it.

The options are:

Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition

Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (Bootscreen)

I have yet to see anything in the BIOS or in Windows concerning this,
but I may not know what to look for.

Thanks,
ATL

Greetings,

You can remove the countdown here -

Right Click - My Computer
Advanced / Startup and Recovery
tick OFF "Time to display list of OS ...."
